Add text content directly to train your bot on information not available in PDFs or websites. This method is ideal for product details, FAQs, and policies.
When to Use Manual Text
Use manual text in the following situations:
- Information not available on your website or in PDF files
- Product details and frequently changing prices
- FAQ answers
- Company policies (returns, shipping, warranty)
- Temporary information like offers and campaigns
- Custom responses to specific questions
How to Add Manual Text
From the bot page, open the "Documents" tab.
Click the "Add Text" button to open the text editor.
Choose a clear title that describes the content, such as "Menu" or "Return Policy".
Add the text content in the content field. You can type directly or copy and paste.
The text will be automatically processed and embeddings will be generated.
Best Practices
- Use clear, structured text — Break content into paragraphs and subheadings for easier understanding.
- Use Q&A format — Writing content as questions and answers gives excellent results because the bot understands context better.
- Write in your customers' language — If your customers speak Arabic, write content in Arabic for best results.
- One topic per document — Keep each document focused on one topic to improve answer accuracy.
